Alan Duthie

Alan joined MBC in June 2013 as General Manager/General Sales Manager for CHCD Simcoe. Really though, he was just coming home... having started his broadcast career many years before at the same station. After stops in Hamilton and Brantford, he’s thrilled to have arrived back to the place he grew up to do the job that he loves. Under Alan's leadership, CHCD grew continuously each year which spurred on the launch of Oldies 99.7 in September 2017. Alan is also very involved in the community, having spent 15+ years with the Norfolk County Agricultural Society (Norfolk County Fair) including 12 years on the Board and 2 years as President.

Alan currently still serves as Chair of the Grandstand Entertainment Committee at the Fair. Alan currently serves on the Board of the Simcoe & District Chamber of Commerce, and is Past-President. Alan Lives in Simcoe with his wife Christine and three daughters Sophia, Fiona and Maisie and their big fluffy Goldendoodle, Winston.
