Andrew began his career straight out of high school as a radio announcer in Renfrew and included stops in Pembroke, Ajax and Ottawa. Leaving radio in 1982, he nurtured the family business, Custom Printers of Renfrew Ltd. and General Store Publishing House, successfully providing printing and publishing services for clients predominantly in Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. Andrew sold the printing/publishing company in 2012. Attaining an MBA from University of Ottawa in 2002 and with the radio bug still present, Andrew co-founded MBC in 2004 where he oversees administration, regulatory affairs as well as legal and finance issues. In 2018, he received the ICD.D designation from the Rotman School of Management. Community involvement for Andrew includes 12 years on Renfrew Town Council along with various other Renfrew and Area charitable organizations. Andrew also served on the inaugural Board of Directors of the Champlain Local Health Integration Network, the Algonquin College Radio Advisory Committee and served as Treasurer for the Nepean Sailing Club. He lives in Ottawa with his wife Karen and has three daughters and five granddaughters. |
