York was born in Montreal but moved to Toronto before turning 3 as his Dad went to work for Roger’s Cable. After many years in the hospitality business York changed careers and went back to school and graduated from the Radio Broadcasting program at Loyalist College in Belleville. He graduated in 2001 and started working at Q100 and Classic Hits 95.5 in Belleville.

​York joined Pineridge Broadcasting in 2004 and now looks forward to the next adventure with The My Broadcasting Corporation. An avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan York lives in Port Hope and enjoys spending as much time as possible with his 8 year old Son Harrison.
