Jon Pole, President (Co-Founder)

Jon’s radio adventure includes stops in Sarnia, Toronto, Chatham and Owen Sound. He also spent time consulting and growing sales for many of Canada’s leading media brands. Jon has won numerous community awards, is a long standing member of the International Broadcasters Idea Bank and is a member of the Humber College Radio Hall of Fame.

Andrew Dickson, Executive V.P., MBA, IDC.D (Co-Founder)

Andrew began his career straight out of high school as a radio announcer in Renfrew and included stops in Pembroke, Ajax and Ottawa. Leaving radio in 1982, he nurtured his company, Custom Printers of Renfrew Ltd. and General Store Publishing House, successfully providing printing and publishing services for clients predominantly in Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. Andrew sold the printing/publishing company in 2012. Attaining an MBA from University of Ottawa in 2002 and with the radio bug still present, Andrew co-founded MBC in 2004 where he oversees administration, regulatory affairs as well as legal and finance issues.
Community involvement for Andrew includes 12 years on Renfrew Town Council, Founding Chair of Renfrew and Area Physician Recruitment Committee, Founding Chair of Valleyfest (formerly Renfrew Lumber Baron Festival) and member of the Renfrew and Area Chamber of Commerce, the Renfrew BIA and the Opeongo Non-Profit Housing among others. Andrew served on the inaugural Board of Directors of the Champlain Local Health Integration Network until June 2010 and has been a member of the Algonquin College Radio Advisory Committee since 2006. He lives in Ottawa with his wife Karen and has three daughters and three granddaughters.

Marg McNab Tubman, Vice President, Human Resources & Administration

Marg was born and raised in Renfrew, Ontario. She attended Carleton University graduating with a BA in Law, and a minor in Sociology. She has continued to further her education by taking accounting courses at Algonquin College and has completed a certificate program through the Industrial Relations Centre at Queen’s University in Kingston. Married to Kent and living in Renfrew, Marg is the mother of 3 grown children and the grandmother of one. Giving back to the community is an integral part of the Tubman family's life in Renfrew. Marg is and has been very involved in our community for many years. She currently sits on the board of directors of Renfrew Victoria Hospital. She is a member of the Renfrew Rotary Club. She was president of Renfrew Rotary in 2009-2010 and 2016-2017. Over the years she has been an avid downhill skier and been involved with the Soccer, Skating and Tennis Clubs.
Rob Mise, Vice President, Content Development & Regional General Manager
Born in Ottawa around the time of the "British Invasion", the music of the 60's and 70's inspired him to dream of a career in radio. All of these years later, Rob is proud of a radio resume ranging from On-Air personality to Program Director, Group/National Program Director, and General Manager/General Sales Manager at stations across Canada. He’s been the recipient of numerous industry programming & promotion awards and been the brains behind more than a few crazy but unforgettable campaigns. Rob is the proud father of two adult children, Jessica and Matthew, who inherited his creative mind. To this day, Rob is always thinking of new and compelling ways to help local businesses tell their stories. He has always given back to the communities in which he has worked, volunteering on boards and working with charities. In his spare time, Rob loves to golf, drive fast cars and share fine red wine with good friends. Rob enjoys socializing and his trademark, unmistakeable laugh is a dead giveaway that he's in the room. One more thing…Rob is undeniably the best there is at making sure things happen. Just ask him. He’ll tell you... then show you!

Jeff Degraw, Vice President of Sales
In 2006, Jeff joined MY Broadcasting Corp as General Manager to launch MBC’s third station - 105.7 myFM Strathroy-Caradoc. Over the years he has taken a lead role in launching many of the myFM stations across Ontario and currently oversees Sales for MBC. Jeff, his wife Rosanna and Daughter Ava reside in SW Ontario. Although he does have a desk, Jeff is commonly found “on his cell”.

Alan Duthie, General Manager, GSM - Simcoe

Alan joined MBC in June 2013 as General Manager/General Sales Manager for CHCD Simcoe. Really though, he was just coming home... having started his broadcast career many years before at the same station. After stops in Hamilton and Brantford, he’s thrilled to have arrived back to the place he grew up to do the job that he loves. Under Alan's leadership, CHCD grew continuously each year which spurred on the launch of Oldies 99.7 in September 2017. Alan is also very involved in the community, having spent 15+ years with the Norfolk County Agricultural Society (Norfolk County Fair) including 12 years on the Board and 2 years as President. Alan currently still serves as Chair of the Grandstand Entertainment Committee at the Fair. Alan currently serves on the Board of the Simcoe & District Chamber of Commerce, and is Past-President. Alan Lives in Simcoe with his wife Christine and three daughters Sophia, Fiona and Maisie and their big fluffy Goldendoodle, Winston.
Robin Glenny, Senior Account Executive - Exeter
Robin has a long association with the broadcast industry in a marketing and sales capacity, since starting his career
in Toronto, with the late CKO News and Information Network. At the close of CKO he took a short hiatus from the broadcast industry joining United Distillers, part of the Guinness Group, as Ontario Region Manager. He returned to radio as a member of the Radio Marketing Bureau, responsible for the development of national account business. In 2001 he moved to southwestern Ontario and became a member of the myFM team with the purchase in 2013 of CHCD-FM Simcoe. Robin is involved in a number of community groups, which include Bayfest, a three-day event on the shores of Lake Erie and is a board member of the Huston Heights Association. In June, Robin was promoted to GM/GSM of myFM's Exeter-Goderich operations. |
Terri-Lynn Bayford, General Manager, GSM- Gananoque
Terri-Lynn joined the myFM team in 2009 bringing with her over 20 years of experience in sales, print media and marketing. Her career with myFM began in the Arnprior/Renfrew area – The Ottawa Valley, which was home. She was a big part of the valley network, well known for her positive attitude and amazing smile. In August 2014 Terri-Lynn made the move to the community of Gananoque, with her family, and took on the role of General Manager at 99.9 myFM. She is actively involved in this community - a volunteer on numerous boards and committees, such as The Gananoque and Thousand Islands Chamber of Commerce, The Northern Credit Union Delegate Board and is always there to help out with local BIA events, to name a few. Terri-Lynn and the myFM Team have helped to make 99.9 myFM Gananoque the #1 source for local news and community involvement.

Samantha Wakefield, General Manager, GSM- St.Thomas
Samantha Wakefield joined the myFM family in 2011 as we launched 94.1 myFM in St. Thomas.
Samantha brings over 10 years of sales, customer service and marketing to her role as General Manager / General Sales Manager. 'Sam from Shedden' as she's been deemed by some, is the definition of local. Fully immersed and connected to the community in St. Thomas. An avid sports fan, who's blood bleeds blue, you can find Sam on the volleyball court in the winter and the ball diamond in the summer. Sam married her husband Mike in 2016 and they welcomed their Son, Benjamin in 2017 who became "little brother" to Oakley, Sam and Mike's Siberian Husky! |
Bob Dillabough, General Manager,GSM- Renfrew
Bob (Bobby D as he is affectionately referred to) is Ottawa born but raised in Renfrew. He is an Honors Graduate of Business Accounting from Niagara College and in the past few years has obtained his CHR certification in Sales. Bob has combined his business background and knack for Sales in his career at MYFM. The pairing of Bob and The Bear for local JR B hockey coverage has been a favourite feature of our MYFM listeners, bringing play by play and comedic colour commentating to our local airwaves. Over the years, Bob has been an active member in the local sports community serving several years on the Renfrew Minor Hockey Executive, coaching various levels of Minor hockey and coaching high school football. Bob is also a passionate supporter and volunteer for CANDLELIGHTERS, Childhood Cancer Support Program Inc.

Melissa Siegel, General Manager, GSM - Pembroke
In 2013 Melissa’s path led her to join the MBC family where she worked for six years as an Account Executive until becoming General Manager where she has the pleasure of leading a fantastic team who take great pride in making their community stronger. Melissa has always had a passion for being involved in her community, organizing many fundraisers and events over the years as a former local restaurant owner. Her love of helping others has helped her thrive in her position where she is able to put her community first!

Lynn Grinstead, General Manager,GSM- Arnprior (Oldies 107.7 Brand)
Lynn grew up in Arnprior, and after attending college and living in "the big cities" she returned to Arnprior when it came time to raise her family. During the early years, as a stay at home mom of four, Lynn was always heavily involved within her church and the community. She rejoined the work force in 2007 as an Account Executive with myFM Radio, and very much enjoyed working with local businesses. In 2016, Lynn became the General Manager of the then newly rebranded Arnprior station, Oldies 107.7. Lynn also enjoys her position as one of the current Town Councillors, a role she earned during the 2010, 2014 and 2018 municipal elections. These roles, plus the various other boards are all avenues that she feels she is able to use to give back to the town she loves. Community minded has always been her way, that’s why her position at the radio station is such a good match for her!

Jef Dueck, General Manager, GSM- (Oldies 96.7 & Freq 90.5 FM Brand)
Dueck has spent over 16 years as a Sales and Marketing specialist in the Peterborough area representing radio, newsprint, specialty products, various digital offers, local trade show events, and more. He spent several years on numerous committees under the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce and was Chair of the Board in 2012. Additionally he has volunteered in various capacities for the City of Peterborough, Lindsay Chamber of Commerce, Canadian Cancer Society, United Way Peterborough & District, Peterborough Minor Lacrosse Association, Peterborough Hockey Association, Peterborough Economic Development, and more.

Rebecca Wilkinson, General Manager, GSM Greater Napanee
Rebecca grew up in Greater Napanee, and after moving around Canada for over thirty years as a radio announcer, she finally relocated back home in 2016 and transitioned to a radio sales, and eventually a management career with MBC Media. She can still be heard on the air every Saturday on myFM stations across Ontario. The accomplishment she's most proud of is also what she says kept her going at times when she wasn't sure she could - her two (now grown) sons, Zander and Carter. A past board member of the Napanee and District Chamber of Commerce, Rebecca loves working, living, and participating in her hometown, and can often be found emceeing local events and live remote broadcasts for myFM. Through being invited to moderate various municipal and regional political debates, she's also developed a keen interest in politics. Rebecca loves writing, reading, and history, and keeps busy in her spare time self-publishing historical fiction novels. She also enjoys travelling, golfing, blogging, and eating healthy (with the odd chocolate binge from time to time). Rebecca is excited to be able to continue to grow her radio career at 88.7 myFM Napanee, the hometown she loves.

Jordan Mercier, Group News Director, MBC
People within My Broadcasting Corporation seem to like Jordan because he is polite and rarely late...well that and he has a passion for all things radio! Jordan joined MBC in September of 2013 after a stint at Durham Radio in Oshawa and has been working in Peterborough ever since. Jordan is currently Company News Director and also hosts 'PTBO Today Live' on FREQ 90.5. When he has downtime, Jordan likes to write, play pool, watch Seinfeld, volunteer in the Peterborough sports community and spend time with his wife Ingrid and daughter Isabela.

Sean Anderson, Group Copy/Production Manager, MBC
Sean has spent most of his working career in broadcasting & advertising with a few detours along the way including earning his Mate’s ticket and sailing cruise ships around the Mediterranean and freighters on the Great Lakes.
When he is not writing, voicing, or producing radio commercials for myFM, you’ll find Sean in the woods with his three Siberian huskies, collecting jazz recordings, or playing his drums at the local burlesque theatre. |
Sara Johnston, Anchor / Program Director (myFM Brand)
Just a small town girl, Sara is proof that with MBC anything is possible. She began with the company in 2007 as an inside sales rep. At the time setting the presets on the car stereo was the extent of her radio knowledge. With an English degree from Queen’s University she began helping out in the news department and soon found herself on-air. Since then she’s added News Anchor, Reporter, Afternoon Co-Host, Solo Announcer, Music Director and now myFM Program Director to her list of accomplishments.

York Bell-Smith, Program Director & Regional Promotions (Classic Rock Brand)
York was born in Montreal but moved to Toronto before turning 3 as his Dad went to work for Roger’s Cable. After many years in the hospitality business York changed careers and went back to school and graduated from the Radio Broadcasting program at Loyalist College in Belleville. He graduated in 2001 and started working at Q100 and Classic Hits 95.5 in Belleville. York joined Pineridge Broadcasting in 2004 and now looks for to the next adventure with The My Broadcasting Corporation. An avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan York lives in Port Hope and enjoys spending as much time as possible with his 8 year old Son Harrison.

Dave Devine, Announcer, Program Director (Oldies Brand)
Dave started his radio career while still in high school as a weekend radio announcer in Thompson, Manitoba. Fast forwarding through the years, Dave has worked in Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto. For the past decade and a half has been working in the picturesque Northumberland County of Ontario at first with Pineridge Broadcasting, and the past 5 years on air and in the programming department of MBC.

Graham Elliott, Anchor, Program Director (Freq 90.5 Brand)
Graham was born and raised in Oshawa/Whitby. Growing up, Graham had a passion for radio, and would often be found 'playing radio' with two tape decks and a copy of the Toronto Sun. n his teen years, he spent much of his time with the 151 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, and volunteering at Rogers TV Durham, both in front and behind the camera. In 1999, he graduated from the Radio Broadcasting Program at Loyalist College. Graham began his radio career in Toronto, at CFRB 1010, and later at The Fan 590. He also worked with Skywords Traffic as a traffic reporter.
After taking a break from radio, Graham landed in Peterborough in 2010, working with a new radio station called FM 90.5, a Christian radio station, initially as a volunteer for the Municipal Election, and was later hired on full time, working in the news room, producing commercials, scheduling music, and working as a board op for the Jays, Petes, and Leafs games. He went from the creation of a Christian radio station, and, after joining My Broadcasting Corporation, he helped build Canada's first FM TALKsports radio station, with the launch of Extra 90.5. Graham became the Program Director of Extra 90.5, and continues in that role, with Freq 90.5 |
Scott Arsenault, I.T. Manager, MBC
Scott Arsenault has been with my broadcasting corp. since the beginning at the company's first radio station in Renfrew Ontario. He started out working in the news department and several years and stations later was made the head of I.T. He got his start in the newsroom at a Huntsville Ontario station before relocating to Renfrew. Originally from Prince Edward Island he has lived and worked in several places in Ontario including Toronto, Hamilton, Guelph, Sudbury and Huntsville.

Shanon Edwards, Website Manager, MBC
Shanon Edwards joined MBC in 2011. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
He began as a videographer until making the transition to web. Shanon currently lives in Eganville, Ontario with his wife Crystal and two boys Brandon and Ian. Shanon loves working for MBC because it gives him the opportunity to be creative day in and day out. |
